Prague is a city of music. It has been like this since time immemorial, during the reign of former kings, musical history began to be born in Prague, the roots of which persist to this day. Nowhere in the Czech Republic have so many world-famous artists performed as here. It is logical, because here are also the largest music arenas where artists can perform. If one of the great artists organizes a world or European tour, Prague is usually also there. And not only world-famous artists. We can also be very proud of our Czech musical creation and there are countless concerts of Czech musical artists in Prague. In addition, you can go to a great musical, which is played in several Prague theaters, or enjoy something calmer, more serious, like a classical music concert.
Prague concerts, of course, also include concerts of the philharmonic orchestra and classical music. Even though evil tongues claim that this is a dead musical genre, this is definitely not the case. No, classical music is not as popular as it once was, but that`s logical. In the days when it was created, people didn`t have much choice. Today, they have dozens of musical genres to choose from, and thanks to the internet and mobile phone applications, they can listen to all the musical genres in the world within an hour. But even though we have such options, nothing compares to classical music that you hear live. The experience is simply unforgettable.
